Cabling a tree involves the reinforcement of weak, cracked or broken trunk areas or important branches within a tree.
We install galvanized steel cable(s) from one branch to another in the upper portion of the tree. This is accomplished by drilling a hole into each limb to be cabled, and then a steel hook is screwed into the hole. After two hooks are firmly screwed in, the cable is secured from hook to hook. This will enable the cabled limbs to move together as one, while mutually supporting each other.
