When a tree or shrub has been cut down to near-ground level, the stump remains in the ground. This may create a mowing hazard, or simply an unsightly spot in your lawn or garden bed. We use a stump grinder to grind out the stump and some of roots of the tree that have been removed.
Stumps are ground down approximately 6-8" below ground level. The resulting pile of wood mulch (grindings & soil) is left in a neat pile in place of the stump.
